The Night Sky This Month gives a what's on guide to astronomical events occuring in the sky this month. We also provide information on the ways in which you can observe the night sky.
The Earth and Beyond section of the Children's University of Manchester website includes a range of interactives designed to teach basic astronomy concepts including day and night, the planets, and phases of the Moon.
We organise a number of events for the public and schools. Many of these are through our Visitor Centre at Jodrell Bank Observatory, but we also organise the Lovell Public Lectures - talks on interesting areas of astronomy and related topics from experts and presented in an accessible way for a general audience.
