Tickets for the events below are available immediately for Friends of Jodrell Bank; they will be generally available from the 4 January 2010. Please call 01477 571339 to book tickets for, or to get further information on, any of the events below.
Throughout the year you can view the telescope from many angles on the Observation Pathway, take a Journey to Mars or tour the Solar System in the 3D theatre. You can also discover the history of Jodrell Bank in the small indoor exhibition area or take a walk in the tranquil setting of the 35 acre Arboretum.

Stargazing
Saturday 20th March, 6.30 to 9.30pm
An evening to help you get started with stargazing and astronomy, members of the local Astronomical Societies will be here with their optical telescopes to give you a chance to see the night sky in all its glory, weather permitting. Find the constellation activities with assistance from our lively staff. Talks, 3D theatre presentation, soup, roll and hot drink included in the ticket price. Tickets arelimited, adults £12.50, children £10.50. SOLD OUT

Astro Kids Day
Tuesday 30th March, sessions start at 10.45, 11.45, 12.45 and 1.45
Space activity is a 45 minute session to include a tour of the Solar System in our Inflatable Planetarium followed by a Journey to Mars in the 3D theatre, suitable for children aged 7 to 10 years. Tickets include admission, 3D theatre experience and the activities and must be booked in advance, children £4.25. Normal rate applies to accompanying adults but they cannot take part in the activities, but will be able to stay in the same room.
