David Jones
I'm an ESO Fellow based in Santiago de Chile with duties at Paranal Observatory. My research is in the field of planetary nebulae, more about which can be found on my research page.Away from academia, I'm a keen "musician", playing the guitar. I am also an avid fan of Manchester United Football Club, and more recently I have become a member of FC United of Manchester in response to the Glazer family's takeover of Manchester United. I also take a keen interest in foreign football, particularly La Primera Liga.
