Options for Study
As part of the School of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Manchester there are a number of ways to study astronomy at different levels:
- Postgraduate courses are available at JBCA in Astronomy & Radio Astronomy providing a training in the methods of research together with the opportunity to participate in front-line research.
- The School of Physics and Astronomy offer a range of undergraduate courses, including Physics with Astrophysics.
- We also offer accredited part-time undergraduate distance learning courses in astronomy, covering 'Life in the Universe & SETI', and 'Exploring the Radio Universe'.
