Maps and travel

The Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics has offices in several locations.

The Centre's main research activities are based in the Alan Turing Building on the main University campus. See Alan Turing Building (interactive campus map)

Telescope operations and further technical developments take place at Jodrell Bank Observatory, 20 miles south of Manchester in Cheshire. Access to the Observatory is from the A535 to the south of the site. For navigation please use postcode SK11 9DL.  

The Discovery Centre, which is open to the public, is also on site at the Observatory, see the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre website

Other technical research is carried out in the Sackville Street Building on the University's North Campus. See Sackville Street Building (interactive campus map)
