Connect with us

Our public engagement and work with schools and colleges are very important to us.

We carry out a wide range of activities across all our research areas, reflecting the strong public interest in our work and in line with our aim of inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Did you know?

The Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre welcomes over 150,000 visitors each year to the famous Cheshire scientific facility, 21,000 of whom are school pupils on educational visits.

If you want to learn more about astronomy and in particular the research we do here in Manchester, you can visit our Discovery Centre at Jodrell Bank Observatory. We organise a series of events, public lectures, and we have an extensive educational programme for schools.

The Jodcast is a podcast by astronomers at Jodrell Bank including the latest news, interviews with guest astronomers and anything else we can think of!
